Why Writing Articles Can Be The Quickest Way to Sell Your Products…

Articles have long been touted as the best free method of promoting a product, but in my view that is not entirely true… There’s more to it… Articles appear to be the best method of promoting a product because they are incredibly effective at getting new subscribers into your optin lists, which sell or pre-sell the products you are promoting.

“Ahh! Not list building again!”

I’m afraid so, list building is the most effective, and stable method of earning an income online.

Building a profitable list involves getting a person to optin to your list and then building a relationship with them until they feel comfortable enough (i.e. they trust you enough), to buy the products you promote.

To build your list you need to create an optin page to which you send traffic from articles you write, and submit, to directories such as ezinearticles.com, goarticles.com, searchwarp.com, easyarticles.com and www.articledashboard.com

Each article you write has an author’s resource at the end which contains a short call to action and a link to your optin page. The idea is to write short articles which will be displayed on the first screen which is displayed (i.e. the reader does not have to scroll down to read the rest of your article, and known as displaying above the fold). This means your call to action will always be visible on any webpage which re-prints your article.

Many webmasters who create “made for Adsense” websites will use re-print rights articles as content for their websites. By writing short articles and allowing other webmasters to display them on their websites, you are basically capitalizing on their search engine optimization efforts.

This means you need to write articles on as many different keywords you can find… Remember that modern search engines use latent semantic indexing, so you need to add as many related terms and phrases as you can in each article.

The end result is you have a number of pages where your articles are displayed and on each page the link to your optin page is above the fold and visible to every reader… Which ultimately means you have a much greater chance of generating traffic to your optin page.

If you fine tune your optin page and convert a high percentage of your visitors into subscribers, you will sell a lot more of your product, and in a much shorter period, than by sending visitors directly to your salespage.

Not only that, the subscriber is still on your optin list after the sale, so you get the opportunity to sell them other products. Let’s face it, selling products to existing happy customers is a whole lot quicker and easier than trying to sell to new customers…
